Always Learning as a Teacher

Two weeks ago, I started a new vocal student who shared with me two new vocal songs I had not heard of and was even able to share the songs with another student this week. One is called Unconditional by Sinead Harnett, the acoustic version is incredible. It brought me to tears about how we can experience unconditional love, no matter our quirks and struggles in life. The second song is called Butterflies by Queen Naja, about falling in love yet feeling scared of breaking up because of past relationships. However, Queen Naja's confidence grew because of the new relationship.

These deep and meaningful songs to my new student touched me, and as I've stated before: I don't know everything, yet I'm always learning. Especially from my students. They are making me the best teacher I can be for them. I've also stated before that I wonder if I'm in the right career, yet I get back to focus and do what I can to help my students be successful, fulfilling their ultimate potential.

What are you learning from your students? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
