I had an idea to try with my studio next Saturday, December 14th and it might be a bit bigger than I thought possible. I need your help. So here goes.
What if instead of having programs with a specific order, where students play piano and sing Christmas music, all the students who participate get a number? When two numbers are drawn, their parent or guardian comes up to a small table with a bell or a buzzer. The parents are given a Christmas Question, and whoever answers the question correctly, that student gets to play or sing their Christmas selection, plus the parent who didn't answer in the time allotted that student goes next. Now I know what you're thinking: what if a parent or guardian isn't interested in getting up in front of people because of anxiety or stress? I'm sure we could come up with an alternative.
Here's where I need your help. What type of Christmas questions should I ask about? Music lyrics, movie quotes, Christmas foods, books, Santa, Jesus? I really could utilize your help. Studio events don't have to be mundane; they should be fun for the whole family. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for any suggestions or ideas.
Always appreciate your support. Blessings.
