Flag Day

In honor of Flag Day, here is Star Spangled Fantasy created by Catherine Rollin, from her book American Medley's and Variations. Rollin creates gorgeous variations to The Star Spangled Banner, from a gentle, reflective perspective to some fortes that will get your attention. Her use of dynamics and ritardando's make the song so pleasing to the ear. Plus she utilizes the entire piano, which are great for every pianist. Rollin, thanks for creating a variation which will help others pause a moment on this Flag Day. This is a book worth checking out from Alfred Publishing.
