Just Breathe

This week has been extremely weird, hectic and at times exhausting, yet there have been moments of rest and breathing. The teacher that I accompany for, his wife had their first baby, which means he's gone for this week. In the Wichita, Kansas area we've experienced more snow days and extremely below 0 degress for many days in January and February, where we've missed a lot of school.
We have a Choir Concert next Tuesday. With the teacher being out, it's been a bit different with the Student Teacher, a Substitue Teacher and me. Which the Students Teacher and Sub are incredible Musicians. So that's extremely beneficial.
Yet today was a different experience, as I went in with the expecations that the choir is still missing notes, words and rhythms, yet we did the first rehearsal of the entire concert today. To be honest with you, I felt so much better. The students and all three teachers are giving our absolute best to help everyone be successful. Plus I took time to breathe today, which changed everything.
On Saturday, I'm accompanying for eight students for Middle School Contest and even though the students have missed a ton of school in January and February, we're moving forward. No matter what happens, they will do well. Was able today to tell the Band Students and the Choir Students to enjoy the Concert Rehearsals, have tons of fun and of course, just BREATHE.
No matter what happens, everything works out for good. I'm so pumped for next Tuesday's concert, even if the teacher I accompany for is there or not. Life isn't perfect, yet we can make it fun.
Where do you need to breathe more? What do you do to find peace, calmness? Would like to know. Thanks for your support. Blessings.
