Vocal Group Class

Just did my first Vocal Group Lesson of 2025, and we had an absolute blast working on the song Cups (When I'm Gone) from Pitch Perfect, the younger girls did I'm So Blessed by Cain and everyone listened and learned a small part of the Into the Woods Medley. The Into the Woods medley is an idea for the summer. We slowly learned the rhythms to Cups, and everyone caught on very well. I'm so proud of them for trying. Plus, we played a fun game to get to know each other better, where we had to say a fruit or vegetable that starts with our the first letter of our first name and our name, plus a short movement. We went around the room or Zoom and everyone got to know each other's names better. Several students said their favorite parts were singing together and being with other students.

Everyone sang vocal warm-ups that made the room resonate in the best way.
